Overview

The insight engine turns your data stack metadata into tasks and insights you can analyze to understand your work better. The insight engine answers questions like:

• What is our docs and tests coverage?
• How much are you overspending on your warehouse?
• Which dbt models can be optimized, and how can they be optimized?
• How well are we resolving our tasks?

Configure

The Insight Engine autogenerates the dashboard on the Insights page once you've connected your data warehouse and GitHub dbt repository to create them. They update daily, so your graphs are always up to date based on the latest issue activity.

Toggle between Optimization and Tech Debt tabs to find various insights. Below the dashboard are the corresponding tasks which you can begin to run. This allows you to see a direct relationship between insights and action.
